Religion - Definition

1. Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe.
2. A personal or institutionalized system grounded in such belief and worship.
The life or condition of a person in a religious order.
A set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader.
A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion.

	Our family is made up of many types of religions. My mom, dad and I are Jewish. As part of our religion, we celebrate many holidays.
Each boy and man in the family wears a Yakima.		Chanukah, the festival of lights, requires us to light candles each night at sundown for 8 nights. During this time we have many special holiday foods. My favorite is Chocolate Cake.
	During our holidays we try to get our whole family together for at least one night.
